Vote For The Lake

Diane Lamkin

Our Lake is Non-Negotiable

At the heart of our community rests a 232-acre, man-made lake with five miles of shoreline. Our lake is surrounded by homes, parks, recreation courts, and a 19-hole golf course, fostering a truly active lifestyle for members of all ages and their guests.

We are all “owners” of the Lake, and if we fail to be wise custodians, we will lose:

  • Property Values

  • Quality of Life

  • A Family-Focused Community

The health of our premier asset—The Lake—is threatened by the lack of a long-term management strategy. I promise to focus my work with the BOD to develop financially viable solutions that will ensure our Lake is well maintained so it will continue to be our most valuable asset.

About Diane

My husband Brent and I have lived in Lake of the Pines (LOP) since October 2020. Like many of you, I chose to live in LOP because I was drawn to the beautiful lake, its surroundings, and the variety of social opportunities and amenities and you will often find me on the golf course, bowling, at the bocce courts, working at the Snack Shack, or enjoying any number of activities in our wonderful community.

I worked for the State of California for 32 years as a Licensed Professional Geologist and have managed over 20+ cleanups of destroyed homes from several wildfires including the Camp, Dixie, Carr, Valley and Thomas Fires.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling, playing golf, quilting and fostering cats and kittens.

I Want To Hear From You!

Ready to take the next step? I want to hear from members who are interested in saving our lake, ensuring our financial stability, and rebuilding respectful conversations.
